Intense ‘heat-wave’ due to ‘Equinox Phenomenon’: Expert

The teperature level is likely to reach it’s all time high and cross 40 degrees Celsius making the existing heat-wave conditions accute and unbearable. The situation will be worst across northern belt where temperature around this time varry between 42 degrees Celsius to 44 degrees Celsius.

According to weathet experts this sudden change in the weather is due to ‘Equinox Phenomenon’ that takes place due to the sun directly positioned above the equator line. According to experts this will affect in the next five-days. Intencity of sun will be at it’s peak from 12pm-3pm daily.

Medical professionals have advised to stay indoors if possible around this time. Apart from that try to follow the followings:

Drink plenty of fluids
Keep yourself hydrated
Take showers frequently
Reduce consumption of meat, egg
Take lots of fruit juice
Increase intake of fruits and vegitables
Keep yourself covered

However, do not hesitate to consult your doctor in case of loose motion, vomiting, giddiness or high fever as these could be symptoms of heat stroke or ‘loo’ as popularly know across north India.
