Twitter is abuzz with Twitterati slamming Pakistani PM Imran Khan after he shared a post on twitter. On Wednesday, Imran shared a famous couplet penned by Nobel Laureate Rabjndranath Tagore as that of eminent Lebanese poet and phillosopher Khalil Gibran.
Imran Khan had posted the couplet – “I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy.” The original lines in Bengali – “aami ghumiye shopno dekhlam jibon aanondito chilo…”
Twitterati did not waste a minute to apprise him of his blundor. The lines are by Tagore and not Gibran.
Imran had written, “Those who discover and get to understand the wisdom of Gibran’s words…”. Well, needless to mention “wisdom” of Imran Khan has been exposed creating a big embarrassment as the news has been trolling since hours.
